Peach King Centre

The Peach King Centre in Grimsby underwent a major $36.7 million expansion and renovation, completed in January 2026. The project transformed the existing facility into a modern community hub, introducing new amenities such as a double gymnasium, indoor walking track, fitness studio, and upgraded arena spaces.

The upgraded facility now features a durable, high-performance sports flooring system that supports a wide range of recreational activities. The combination of colours adds visual energy and clear zoning, while the resilient surface ensures comfort, safety, and long-term performance for community users.

Gerflor’s Recreation 60 was selected to meet the demands of high-traffic recreational spaces. Canadian Maple (6062) was installed over 2,018 yd², providing a classic wood-look aesthetic, Class 2 shock absorption, and comfort underfoot. Verde (6556) and Gray (2711), installed over 700 yd² and 551 yd² respectively, were used to create visual zoning and enhance the overall design while maintaining consistent performance and durability across the facility.
