New Elementary School Construction

The new elementary school was built in 2025 as a to support the growing population of families in the Brome-Missisquoi region of Quebec. Designed with a focus on sustainability, durability, and aesthetics, the new facility was created to offer a safe and engaging learning environment for students from kindergarten to sixth grade. 

As a newly constructed school, the project required flooring solutions that could meet high performance demands across educational, administrative, and common areas—ensuring resilience, hygiene, and design continuity throughout. 

The new school features a bright, clean, and modern interior that reflects the values of quality education and student well-being. To meet the needs of this modern facility, Gerflor’s Mipolam Affinity flooring was selected in two complementary finishes: 4459 Grey Storm and 4430 Pearl Grey, for a total of 3,235 yd². Mipolam Affinity is a homogeneous vinyl flooring designed for high-traffic environments like schools, offering excellent resistance to wear, stains, and chemicals. Its Evercare™ surface treatment ensures easy maintenance and long-term cleanliness, while the neutral tones help create calm, focused learning spaces throughout the building.
