MacLachlan College

MacLachlan College invested in a gymnasium upgrade to enhance its multi-purpose athletic and recreational space. The gym serves a variety of functions—from physical education and student athletics to assemblies and special events—requiring a flooring solution that delivers both performance and aesthetic appeal.

The goal was to install a surface that offers optimal shock absorption, visual zoning for activity areas, and long-term durability while fitting seamlessly with the modern architectural character of the campus.

The updated gymnasium at this college now supports a wide variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs in a safer, more dynamic environment. With Taraflex Multi-Use flooring in place, the school benefits from a stylish, high-performance surface that aligns with its commitment to student well-being and facility excellence.

To meet the performance and design requirements of the project, Gerflor’s Taraflex Multi-Use sports flooring was selected in two complementary finishes.

2791 Polished Concrete Light Grey was used for neutral zones, offering a contemporary, understated look.

6350 Light Cherry Design added warmth and contrast in specific activity zones, enhancing layout visibility and overall atmosphere.

Covering a total of 367 ft², Taraflex Multi-Use offers excellent shock absorption, slip resistance, and indentation recovery, making it ideal for multifunctional school gym settings.
