Completed in 2023, the new Huntingdon Ridge Public School was built to accommodate a growing student population in the Brampton area. The project focused on creating a modern, safe, and functional learning environment that supports both academic and athletic development. The gymnasium, as a central hub for student activity and community events, required a flooring system that combines safety, durability, and low maintenance.

The new gymnasium at Huntingdon Ridge Public School now features a bright, safe, and high-performance surface designed for everyday physical education, extracurricular sports, and school events. To meet these needs, Gerflor Recreation 60 in 6062 Canadian Maple was installed over 400 yd² in the school’s gymnasium. This resilient sports flooring provides Class 2 shock absorption (ASTM F2772), excellent wear resistance, and superior comfort underfoot. Its PUR Protect™ surface treatment reduces maintenance requirements, enhances stain and scratch resistance, and ensures long-lasting performance.
