The Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre was developed as a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to support a wide range of fitness, recreation, and community wellness activities. The project required high-performance flooring solutions capable of withstanding intensive use while providing safety, comfort, and durability in active environments.

The facility now features a safe, durable, and visually appealing sports floor that supports a wide range of activities. It delivers consistent performance, enhanced comfort underfoot, and strong resistance to wear, helping improve the overall user experience. With its easy maintenance and long-term durability, the flooring solution is well suited to the demands of a modern, high-traffic wellness environment.

Gerflor’s Taraflex Sport M Plus was selected for its proven performance in sports and multi-use facilities. Wood Oak (5742) was installed over 1,230 yd², delivering a natural wood-look aesthetic, excellent shock absorption, and superior comfort underfoot. Anthracite (6873) was installed over 200 yd² to create visual contrast and define activity zones while maintaining consistent performance across the surface.
