David Leeder Middle School

In 2024, David Leeder Middle School undertook a renovation of its gymnasium to upgrade the existing athletic floor and better support daily physical education classes, school sports, and extracurricular activities. The project required a high-performance sports flooring system that could deliver safety, durability, and visual impact while minimizing maintenance requirements.

The renovated gym now features a resilient, safe, and visually engaging sports floor designed for long-term use.

Gerflor’s Sport M Plus was selected for its proven performance in school gym environments. Maple (6381) colour was installed over 652 yd², providing a classic gym aesthetic, excellent ball rebound, and Class 2 shock absorption. Blue (6430) was installed over 147 yd² to create visual contrast and define activity zones, while maintaining consistent performance across the entire playing surface.
