Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre

The Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre was created in 2016 following the merger of the Constance-Lethbridge and MAB-Mackay centers, bringing together a long history of expertise in rehabilitation services. In 2025, the facility updated its main corridors to improve accessibility, aesthetics, and overall patient experience. The design intent was to refresh circulation spaces with soothing, nature-inspired tones while maintaining the safety and hygiene standards required in healthcare environments.

With the new flooring in place, the rehabilitation center now benefits from bright, refreshed corridors that offer improved durability, easier cleaning, and a more welcoming atmosphere. The green shades of Mipolam Affinity create a calming, therapeutic environment that aligns with the center’s mission of patient recovery and well-being. The result is a functional, modernized space that enhances mobility, comfort, and the overall experience for everyone who uses the facility.

To achieve this, Gerflor Mipolam Affinity was installed across 287 yd², using two complementary green tones: Clover (4467) and Light Emerald (4447). Mipolam Affinity is a high-performance homogeneous vinyl flooring designed for demanding healthcare settings. Its Evercare™ surface treatment provides outstanding stain, abrasion, and chemical resistance, ensuring long-lasting cleanliness with minimal maintenance. The product’s low VOC emissions, durable construction, and seamless installation support a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
