Whitehorn Public School

Whitehorn Public School in Mississauga completed the construction in 2024 of a new gymnasium to support its growing student community. The project required a safe, durable, and visually appealing sports flooring system that could withstand daily physical education activities, school events, and community use, while providing long-term comfort and performance.

The new gym at Whitehorn Public School now features a resilient, attractive, and safe flooring system designed to support a wide range of student activities. Gerflor’s Recreation 60 collection was selected for its strong athletic performance and low-maintenance design.

Recreation 60 Canadian Maple (6062) was installed over 307 yd², offering a classic gym wood appearance, Class 2 shock absorption, and enhanced underfoot comfort.

Recreation 60 Oceano (6614) was installed over 209 yd², providing contrasting design accents for visual zoning while maintaining the same performance, safety, and durability.
