Treeline Public School

Treeline Public School upgraded its existing gymnasium as part of a broader effort to modernize learning and recreation spaces across the campus. The renovation focused on improving safety, comfort, and visual appeal for students while ensuring the flooring system could withstand the demands of daily school activities and community programs. The design team also sought to create a brighter, more welcoming environment that aligns with current educational and athletic standards.

After renovation, the gym now features a resilient, safe, and modern surface that meets the needs of Treeline’s students, staff, and community. The combination of wood-look and gray visual zones enhances aesthetics while delivering consistent performance and ease of care. With Recreation 60’s durability and warranty backing, the school gains a long-term, reliable flooring solution that supports both activity and operational goals.

For the primary playing area, Recreation 60 – 6062 Canadian Maple was installed over 686 yd². This product offers Class 2 shock absorption (per ASTM F2722), excellent durability, comfort, and a classic wood-look aesthetic. Its PUR Protect™ surface treatment simplifies maintenance, enhances stain resistance, and contributes to long life, while low VOC emissions and recyclable construction support healthy indoor air quality.

In addition, Recreation 60 Gray 2711 was used for 74 yd² in accent zones (e.g. border areas, non-play zones). Using the same product line in a contrasting color helps define zones while maintaining consistent performance and ease of maintenance.
